New Delhi, Oct 12 (PTI) Home-grown craft beer maker Bira 91 on Wednesday announced the acquisition of alco-bev chain The Beer Café for an undisclosed amount.

Bira 91, which is backed by Sequoia Capital, Sofina of Belgium and Kirin Holding of Japan, will get direct access to 33 outlets of The Beer Café being operated in 15 cities, according to a joint statement.

The Beer Cafe’s management team, including Founder & CEO Rahul Singh, will continue to lead the operations.
